Under the guidance of their dedicated Head Coach, Scott Fellnermayr, the team has been diligently preparing for the season. Coach Fellnermayr shared his thoughts on the team's current state of mind, saying, "I feel the team is very motivated. The veterans have done a great job so far in helping out the new players, and the new recruits are fitting in very well and pushing the pace in practices. We've been practicing and playing exhibition games for over a month now, so we're excited to play for real."
The aspirations for the season are crystal clear – continuous improvement. Coach Fellnermayr envisions a squad that plays a complete 200-foot game, creating plenty of scoring opportunities while minimizing chances against. He has high expectations for the team's potential and is confident they can achieve great things when they reach their best.
Team dynamics are crucial to any successful season, and the Ooks are in a fantastic place. The roster features a near 50/50 split between new and returning players, creating a dynamic blend of experience and fresh faces. Coach Fellnermayr emphasized the importance of camaraderie within the team, stating, "We've got a group that seems to like hanging out with each other, which is always a good sign. We want to enjoy coming to the rink every day, and so far, we have that."
While there may not be any major events planned for the season, the focus remains on the game itself and achieving their goals on the ice.
