Day Four Recap:
The NAIT Ooks golf team wrapped up their Nationals journey with a solid finish, placing 9th overall in the men's tournament. Cayden Clark led the team on the final day, firing an impressive 73, his best round of the week. Blake Feth followed with a strong 79, while Mason Gorski and Nate Kasowski both carded 83 to complete the team's final total.
On the women's side, Ella Dolan finished her tournament with a round of 94, securing 12th place in the individual standings.
Mason Gorski's incredible run over the week saw him finish tied for 13th in the country—a fantastic achievement in a competitive field. Additionally, Nate Kasowski was honored with the CCAA Exemplary Leadership Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions both on and off the course.
The Ooks showed resilience and determination throughout the tournament, and they'll return stronger for next season. Great job, Ooks!
Day Three Recap:
The NAIT Ooks delivered an impressive performance on Day 3 of the CCAA Golf National Championships, with Mason Gorski leading the charge. Gorski had an incredible comeback, shooting a remarkable -3, which vaulted him 10 positions up the individual men's leaderboard to secure 5th place after three rounds. His stellar performance also helped the Ooks jump up a position on the team leaderboard, keeping the team's momentum alive.
Cayden Clark also had his best round of the tournament, shooting a +5 for a score of 76, improving by 5 shots from his previous rounds and climbing 7 spots in the individual standings. Blake Feth shot an 89, while Nate Kasowski posted his best score of the tournament so far, shooting an 83.
On the women's side, Ella Dolan faced a tough round, carding a 95. Despite the challenge, she remains tied for 11th in the individual standings, keeping her in the mix as the final round approaches.

Day Two Recap:
The NAIT Ooks came out swinging in Round 2 of the 2024 CCAA Golf National Championships, with several strong performances propelling the team forward on Wednesday. Leading the charge was Mason Gorski, who rallied with an impressive +4, moving up 12 spots on the individual leaderboard. Gorski's determination helped boost the team's confidence heading into the final rounds.
Cayden Clark also showed grit, posting a solid round of 81, while Blake Feth carded an 84, and Tanner Visser added an 89 to round out the team's score. Nate Kasowski finished the day with a 94, but the Ooks remain optimistic with two more rounds still to play.
On the women's side, Ella Dolan had a fantastic day, bouncing back with a brilliant 76—an impressive 15-shot improvement from Round 1. Her performance moved her up four spots on the women's leaderboard, putting her in a great position for the final two rounds.

The NAIT Ooks men's golf team is off to a steady start after day one of the 2024 CCAA Golf National Championships, currently tied for 9th with Durham College Lords. Although it was a challenging round, the Ooks are staying focused and optimistic with three more rounds left to play.
Blake Feth led the way for NAIT with a solid round of +8, showcasing his resilience on a tough course. Mason Gorski followed closely, carding a +10, while Tanner Visser and Cayden Clark both posted +16. Nate Kasowski finished the day with a +18, but with plenty of golf left, there's ample opportunity for the team to climb the leaderboard.
On the women's side, ACAC Team #1, which includes NAIT's Ella Dolan, is currently in fourth place. Ella recorded a +20 in the first round, but her determination and skill leave plenty of room for improvement in the upcoming rounds.

NAIT Ooks at Nationals
The NAIT Ooks golf team is ready for an exciting challenge as they prepare to compete in the 2024 CCAA Golf National Championships, hosted by Humber College from October 14-18, 2024. This prestigious event, presented by PING, will take place at the scenic and demanding RedCrest Golf Club in King, Ontario.
The Ooks men's team has earned their spot in the national spotlight, with five skilled golfers set to represent NAIT: Mason Gorski, Blake Feth, Cayden Clark, Nate Kasowski, and Tanner Visser. On the women's side, Ella Dolan will compete as part of the ACAC team, adding strength to an already impressive roster.
The RedCrest Golf Club, a par 71 championship course, offers the perfect blend of breathtaking views and challenging play. Opened in 2009 and designed by Kevin Holmes, RedCrest stretches to 6,600 yards and demands precision, with water hazards on 14 of its 18 holes. The meticulously maintained greens and strategically placed hazards will test even the most seasoned players, requiring mastery in trajectory and direction control.
With four intense rounds ahead, the Ooks golfers are poised to make a significant impact at the Nationals. Fans are eager to see how this talented team will perform in such a competitive field.
