The NAIT Ooks badminton team delivered an outstanding performance at the ACAC Championships last weekend, earning a silver medal in the team event and securing five national championship berths. With their impressive results, five Ooks athletes have punched their tickets to the CCAA National Championship, set to take place at The King's University in Edmonton, Alberta, from February 27 to March 1.

In the individual events, the Ooks continued to showcase their talent:

• Mixed Doubles Silver Medalists: Davis Wong & Khushi Vaniya 
• Women's Doubles Silver Medalists: Noel Do & Samantha Tran 
• Men's Singles Silver Medalist: Smit Patel 

These silver medal finishes earned Wong, Vaniya, Do, Tran, and Patel a coveted spot at nationals, where they will compete against the best collegiate players from across the country.

Additionally, Ray Wang & Caelen Mah captured a bronze medal in men's doubles, highlighting the depth of NAIT'sbadminton program.

The Ooks will now turn their focus to the CCAA National Championship, where they aim to bring home top honors. Congratulations to the entire team on their ACAC success, and best of luck at nationals!
