GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB - Wyatt Beaver scored a team-high 27 points and added 4 rebounds as the NAIT Ooks topped the NAIT Ooks 112-103 in double overtime in ACAC men's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Grande Prairie.
Wolves' Kenny Johnson had game-high 58 points and 12 rebounds to lead GPRC in a losing effort.
The Wolves made a 4th quarter charge to tie the game and send it to overtime, but the Ooks were able to fend them off in the long run.
With this win, the Ooks record improves to 4-4 4th in the North Division of the ACAC, while the Wolves fall to 5-3 and remain 2nd in the standings. NAIT's next game is next Friday when the Ooks will play host to the Kings Eagles.
