EDMONTON, Alta. – With the ACAC championships on the horizon, the NAIT Ooks used the final game of the regular season against the King's Eagles to fine tune their game and head into the postseason riding a four-game win streak, punctuated by a 95-88 win on Saturday night.
Led by ACAC leading scorer and player of the game Sean-Michael Clancey, the NAIT Ooks used a high scoring first quarter to set the tone early and eventually pull away for the victory and build on the win from the night before against this same opponent.
The Ooks were strong on the glass counteracting some of their turnover woes and eliminated any chance of the Eagles using second chance points to get themselves back into the game.
A tough season for the King's Eagles comes to an end after the fourth matchup against NAIT Ooks
The win put the Ooks home record to 8-4 to finish the season and completed the series sweep for the Ooks 4-0
