Ooks sweep weekend series

Edmonton, AB - Jake Mykitiuk (x2), Devon McAndrews, Francis Menard, Cameron Brezinski, and Brandon Ralph all scored during the NAIT' Ooks' decisive 6-3 victory over the Portage Voyageurs on Saturday evening in ACAC men's hockey action at the NAIT Arena.

The Ooks goals were scored in the first and third period, while Lane VandeWetering and Gael Lubwele (x2) replied in a losing cause for the Voyageurs.

Overall, the Ooks outshot the Voyageurs by 50-18 shots on net.

With this win, NAIT improves to 9-1-1 and remain first in the ACAC, while the Voyageurs fall to 1-8 and remain last in the ACAC. The Ooks next match is against the SAIT Trojans at SAIT, Friday November 17th, 7:00pm.
