Edmonton, AB - Ty Stanton's goal in the second overtime proved to be winner as the NAIT Ooks defeated the RDC Kings 3-2 in ACAC men's hockey action Friday night at NAIT Arena.
The Ooks goals were scored by Thomas Foster, Jake Mykitiuk and Ty Stanton, respectively, while Chase Thudium and Lynnden Pastachak replied in a losing cause for the Kings.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Kings by 44-33 shots on net.
With this win, NAIT improves to 11-0-1-1 and remain first in the ACAC, while the RDC Kings fall to 8-4-1 and remain second in the ACAC. Rematch of the weekend series will be tomorrow Saturday November 25th in Red Deer at 7:00pm.
