CAMROSE, AB. - Brandon Ralph's short-handed goal 19:35 into the 3rd period proved to be the winner as the NAIT Ooks defeated the Augustan Vikings 4-3 in ACAC men's hockey action Friday night in Camrose.
The Ooks goals were scored by Tyler Robertson (2), Isaac Farrah and Brandon Ralph, respectively, while Jimmy Sheehan, Mitch McMullin and Evan Warmington replied in a losing cause for the Vikings.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Vikings 43-32, with Nathan Park making 29 saves.
With this win, NAIT moves to 13-1-1-1 on the season and remain in first in the ACAC, while Augustana falls to 9-5-2. The Ooks will now turn around and play host to the Vikings tomorrow night at 6:00 pm.
