Caronport, SK - Tanner Younghans struck four goals, as the NAIT Ooks men's hockey team blew out the Briecrest Clippers 11-0 on Saturday afternoon at Caronport, Saskatchewan.
The Ooks had six diffferent players score for them this afternoon. Brandon Ralph, Brayden Harris and Ty Staton scored a goal each, Tanner Dunkle and Cameron Brezinski scored a pair each, and Tanner Younghans struck 4 goals for the NAIT Ooks. Nathan Warren recorded his first shut-out of the season in goal for the Blue and Gold.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Clippers by 53-14 shots on net.
With this win, NAIT improves to 15-1-1-1 and remain at the top of the ACAC standings, while the Clippers fall to 4-12-1-1 and remain seventh in the ACAC. The Ooks next match is on the road against the MacEwan Griffins on Friday January 19th at 7:00pm.
