EDMONTON, Alta. - The NAIT Ooks men's volleyball team defeated the King's University Eagles 3-1 on Saturday afternoon in the NAIT Gymnasium
The high flying NAIT Ooks came out ready for revenge after losing to the Eagles on Friday night, and revenge they got. NAIT Dominated the first two sets taking them 25-18 and 25-16. In the third set, the Eagles stopped the bleeding momentarily as they went up late in the set, giving Ooks head coach Greg Gulash a chance to sub out his starters to allow them to regroup. In the fourth set, with the starters back in the game NAIT went back to work, they found themselves down 13-12, but then rattled off four straight points to take a 16-12 lead. The Ooks kept the momentum taking the final set 25-20. Radek Brzozowski (14 kills) and Spencer Fisher (17 kills) led the way for the Ooks driving them to an 11-1 first-half finish.
