Today, the regular season began for the NAIT Ooks in the NAIT Gymnasium as they faced the University of Alberta – Augustana Vikings. Both teams played competitively against one another. However, the NAIT Ooks were able to win the match with a final score of 3-0.

The start of the match was even between the Vikings and the Ooks as the score went back and forth with close rallies. The Ooks were able to gain the lead, though, and win the first set 25-19.
The Ooks momentum carried into the second set as they were able to gain and hold a more significant lead against the Vikings, finishing the second set with a score of 25-15.
With the chance of losing the match, the Vikings fought hard against the Ooks to claim their first point. However, they fell short, and the Ooks came out on top, with the third set having a final score of 25-18.

The players of the game were #4 Ben Linsley from the Vikings and #15 Shae McIntyre from the Ooks.
