Edmonton, AB - 5th-year guard Kika Greenlee scored a team-high 23 points and added nine rebounds as the NAIT Ooks topped the King's Eagles 68-60 in ACAC women's basketball action Friday night at NAIT Gymnasium.
Marta Burchett led the way for the Eagles with 16 points and three rebounds.
Overall, it was a close match between the Ooks and Eagles. There was a lot of back and forth for both teams trading baskets, but it was the Ooks who found themselves on top at the end.
With this win, the Ooks record improves to 7-3, while the Eagles go to 3-5. The Ooks now have a two-week bye, where they will then face the Augustana Vikings December 1st in Camrose.
