In the second half, Thunder would continue to try to fight back into the game narrowing the Ooks lead to 3. NAIT came out strong in the final quarter taking their lead back to 11, Concordia would make a late push, but couldn't beat the Ooks down the stretch. NAIT would end up taking the game 73-70.
"Concordia was very physical in both games this weekend. Friday we were unable to adjust to the physical play and it influenced our shooting percentage. Tonight we set the tempo early and were much more adjusted to the physical play. We knew Concordia would make a run, it was a matter of weathering the storm and responding, which we did despite foul trouble," said Ooks head coach, Todd Warnick following the game.
