EDMONTON, AB - Megan Leblanc, Alix Reiter, and Brittney Savard all scored during the NAIT Ooks' decisive 3-0 victory over the Broncos on Saturday night in ACAC women's hockey action at the NAIT Arena.
The Ooks goals were scored in the second (1 goal) and third period (2 goals), respectively, while Tara Bouvette recorded her first shutout of the season with 18 saves in net for the Blue and Gold.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Broncos 31-18.
With this win, NAIT improves to 3-1-0 and move to the third place in the ACAC, while the Broncos fall to 2-4-0 and move down to the fourth place in the ACAC. The Ooks next match is on the road against the Red Deer Queens on November 2nd at 7:00pm.
