Delaney Martin will be joining the Ooks for the start of the 2018 season. For the past few years, the Lac La Biche native has been playing with the AJFHL Edmonton Wolves. Prior to that, she played in St Albert, to play with the Slash (2017 Esso Cup Champions).

Delaney will be returning to post-secondary education for a second time, this time in combination with Athletics. Delaney wishes to improve herself and career potential, while still playing competitive hockey; "it is a great opportunity for me to further my career, the team was so welcoming that it made me feel comfortable right away." Delaney will enroll in the NAIT Personal Fitness Trainer.
