The NAIT Ooks' women's hockey team faced off against the Lakeland Rustlers on Saturday night in their final regular season game. The Ooks finished their regular season on a high note, winning the game 2-0 and finishing first in the league.
The first period between the Ooks and Rustlers was close, with both teams having scoring chances. The Ooks scored first, giving them an early lead over the visiting Rustlers. Neither team was able to capitalize on these opportunities. The period was goalless, with both Ooks' goalie, Kaitlyn Slator, and Rustlers' goalie Chantel Weller strong in the net.
The Ooks' won 2-0.
