The NAIT Ooks Men's volleyball team went down to San Diego, California, for eight days to train and play against some of the other top CCAA programs, including nationally ranked Limoilou Titans (Quebec), CCAA Nationals Host Humber Hawks (Ontario), and Southern opponent the Olds Broncos (Alberta).
The week consisted of morning practices at SoCal Volleyball Facility and premier matches against each other in the evening at a state-of-the-art facility in Pacific Ridge Academy. The Ooks finished perfect with a 5-0 record.
"We played some of our best ball of the year this trip, which was great to see. The goals of the trip were to create a memorable student-athlete experience, come together and strengthen our team cohesion through deeper, more meaningful connections/friendships with one another, and enjoy the opportunity to train and play with some of the country's top college programs. We are happy to say we came home having accomplished all our trip goals and feel ready for our ACAC playoff push to come this 2nd semester," said Head Coach Jordan Taylor.
