Basketball
Both Women's and Men's Basketball had a stellar weekend sweeping Augustana over the weekend.
Men's Basketball were dominant against the Vikings securing a 96-66 victory the first night. Omar Farah and Peter-Aluk Deng were unstoppable on offense with Omar scoring 31 points and Peter-Aluk with 26.
Overnight they didn't let up as they beat Augustana 90-60 the following day with Omar Farrah and Cameron Kinsley both scoring 12 points for the Ooks.
Women's Basketball also had an astounding finish with a tight 69-62 win Friday night. Payton Neilson led the offence scoring 18 points for the Ooks.
They Followed up Saturday with a crushing 68-42 win with Dior Sellars scoring 18 points and Grace Culshaw with an amazing 11 rebounds.
Volleyball
The women's team secured another 3-0 victory last Friday night against the Augustana Vikings. Rachel Mallet led the offence with 15 kills and a stuff block to finish the match. Sadly, they couldn't carry that win with them into Saturday as they lost 3-1.
Unfortunately for the men's team they had a tough 5 set battle Friday night against the Vikings but lost 3-2. Josh Watson had an amazing count of 15 kills and 8 digs that night but unfortunately it was just not enough to pull through in the end.
They lost again the following night 3-0 but hope to bounce back this weekend when they take on the Kings University Eagles.
Hockey
Men's Hockey had an upsetting first day finish against the Briercrest Clippers with a 1-0 finish, but they bounced back Saturday securing a 7-4 victory. Goalie Lochlan Gordon locked in on defense with 40 saves that night to help secure the win.
Unfortunately, women's hockey had an upsetting weekend, losing both nights 5-2 to the Lakeland Rustlers. They'll look to comeback this weekend as they take on the Red Deer Queens and the Medicine Hat Rattlers.
