Red Deer, February 28, 2020 – The NAIT Ooks had a rough start to the ACAC Curling Championships on Friday afternoon in Alberta as all three teams drop their first game. Friday wasn't all bad for the Ooks though. At the ACAC Curling All-Conference Awards banquet, the Ooks' Jonah Tobinski and Nicholas Duivenvoorde were named to the men's all-conference team and the mixed all-conference team was made up of all Ooks as Ryan Saville, Dana Algot, Steven Leong and Chevelle McLennan all earned the honours.

Men -  SAIT def. NAIT 5-4.

Women - RDC def. NAIT 7-6.

Mixed - MacEwan def. NAIT 8-7

All teams will hit the ice at 10:00 am on Saturday for the second day of the competition.
