Ooks sweep Vikings in opening weekend

Edmonton, AB - Isaac Farrah struck a pair of goals, as the NAIT Ooks Men's Hockey team topped the Augustana Vikings 5-1 on Saturday at NAIT Arena.

The Ooks goals were scored by Cameron Brenzinski, Isaac Farrah (x2), Jarid Hauptman and Jake Mykitiuk while Joe Tambasco replied in a losing cause for the Vikings.

Overall, the Ooks outshot the Vikings by 51-37.

With this win, NAIT remains first in the ACAC with a record of 2-0-0, while the Vikings fall to 0-2-0. The Ooks next match is against the Briercrest Clippers at 7:00pm on Friday October 13th at NAIT.
