Edmonton, AB - Jordan Davies' goal a minute and a half into OT proved to be winner as the NAIT Ooks defeated the SAIT Trojans 4-3 in ACAC men's hockey action Friday night at the NAIT Arena.
The Ooks goals were scored by Ty Stanton, Corey Chorneyko, Jake Mykitiuk and Jordan Davies, respectively, while Parker Evans-Campbel, Zach McNeil, and Kolton Dixon replied in a losing cause for the Trojans.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Trojans by 43-34 shots on net.
With this win, NAIT improves to 21-2-1-1 and remain first in the ACAC, while the Trojans fall to 15-7-3 and remain fourth in the ACAC. Rematch will take place tomorrow Saturday Ferbruary 17th when the Ooks head to Calgary and visit the Trojans at 6:00pm.
