Ooks defeat Eagles
EDMONTON, AB. - Matthew McLean's goal in the 33rd minute proved to be the winner as the NAIT Ooks defeated the King's Eagles 2-0 in ACAC Men's soccer action Saturday at NAIT.
The Ooks goals were scored in the 30th and 80th minute by Matthew McLean and Ali Musse, respectively, while Francesco Marrazzo recorded his first shutout of the season in goal for the Blue and Gold.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Eagles 9-3 (shots on net).
With this win, NAIT remains in 2nd place in the ACAC, with a record of (4-1-0), while Kings falls to (2-3-0). The Ooks next match is Sunday, September 30, as they host the Augustana Vikings.
