Sherwood Park, Alta -  Matthew Zima scored a pair as the NAIT Ooks defeated GPRC Wolves 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Emerald Hill Sports Pavillion in Sherwood Park. 

David Doe began the scoring in the 10th minute of the game when he breezed through the Wolves defenders to score a beautiful goal on a solo effort. Matthew Zima added a goal 2 minutes later, and then another before halftime to put the Ooks up 3-0 heading into the locker room. With first place in the ACAC north division already clinched, coach Charles O'Toole played the majority of his bench in the second half allowing his younger players to get some valuable game experience. Despite some good chances from both sides in the second half, the game would end 3-0 in favour of the Ooks

David Doe for the Ooks and keeper Leonardo Rojas Cruz for the Wolves took home Player of The Game honours in the match. With his two goals today Matthew Zima is now tied for the league lead with 11 goals.

The Ooks will play their final regular season game tomorrow afternoon against the Concordia Thunder at 2:00 pm on the Clareview Turf Field.
