On Saturday night the NAIT Ooks took on the Lethbridge College Kodiaks at the NAIT gymnasium. The Kodiaks won the game 3-0 over the Ooks.
Kodiaks took the lead early in the first set, shutting the Ooks down at the net with a phenomenal block from number twenty-four and fourteen. However, the Ooks weren't done yet and tied the set back up with a massive kill by Ross Bishop. The Ooks took the lead with a spectacular block from number eleven Felix Dufour and number ten Karter Godwin. The Kodiaks weren't letting them get far and tied the set up. The set was neck and neck, with the Kodiaks refusing to let the Ooks take back the lead. The Ooks called their first time out of the game, hoping to regroup. The Ooks tied up the set with a massive hit from number five Carter Hills. The set was neck and neck, with both teams refusing to give in; however, the Kodiaks took the set 31-29.

The closeness from the end of the first set continued into the second set. The Ooks were able to take a three-point lead of their own over the Kodiaks early in the set, but the Kodiaks closed up on the Ooks' lead to tie the game and eventually go ahead. The Kodiaks' number fourteen, Nolan Moes, made an impressive kill from the left side that made it past the Ooks' block at the net. The Kodiaks extended their lead to five points. The Ooks weren't done yet, though, as they fought to close the gap. The Ooks fell short, though, and the Kodiaks took the second set 25-18.

After losing the first two sets, the Ooks look for their first win of the night. The Kodiaks' number fourteen, Nolan Moes, made a solid block against the Ooks' offense to gain his team another point. Ooks number fifteen Shae McIntyre made a massive kill against the Kodiaks' defense. The rallies between the Ooks and the Kodiaks continue to be impressive; however, the Kodiaks kill the play more often than the Ooks. The Ooks worked tirelessly to change the game's momentum to their favor but ran out of time to do so. The Kodiaks win the set 25-21, to win the game 3-0.
