In the second set, the Ooks took the lead early as the Thunders' defense struggled with kills from Carter Hills and Ross Bishop. The Ooks dominated offensively and defensively, shutting down the Thunder's attempts to close the gap. The Thunder were closing the gap with momentum-swinging kills from number Carson Hilburn. With the Ooks' momentum slowing and their errors piling up, they barely held onto their lead. The Ooks took the second set 25-18, leading the match 2-0 over the Thunder.
In the third set, the Thunder took the lead early with massive blocks from Rhees Moss and Logan Kranrod as the Ooks struggled to match the Thunder's desperation. Ooks began to close the gap with massive kills from Carter Hills, which rejuvenated the club. The Thunder relinquished their lead, and the Ooks swooped in to take it. The Ooks won the third set 25-23, winning the match 3-0.
