Ooks Fall To Thunder
Edmonton, AB. – 5th year Sydney Hurlburt scored a game-high 16 points but it was not enough as the NAIT Ooks fell to the Concordia Thunder 76-70 in ACAC women's basketball action Saturday night at Concordia.
Ann Ulmer had 12 points while Lacey Weddle added 11 off of the bench for the Thunder, which found them coming out on top.
The Ooks and the Thunder split the weekend series both ending with a 1-1 record to begin the season. NAIT's next game is October 20th when they take on the Keyano Huskies 6 pm, while Concordia will host the Augustan Vikings.
