Edmonton, AB - 5th-year guard Kika Greenlee scored a team-high 28 points and added six rebounds as the NAIT Ooks topped the King's Eagles 82-73 in ACAC women's basketball action Friday night at NAIT Gymnasium.
Marta Burchett led the way for the Eagles with 16 points and ten rebounds.
Overall, it was a close match between the Ooks and Eagles. There was a lot of back and forth for both teams trading baskets, but on the third quarter, the Ooks spread their lead winning the quarter by 8 points and they were able to hold that lead until the end.
With this win, the Ooks record improves to 6-3, while the Eagles go to 3-4. The rematch will take place tomorrow Saturday at 6:00 pm at Kings University.
