Edmonton, AB - 5th year guard Kika Greenle scored a game-high 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists as the NAIT Ooks topped the Augustana Vikings 82-67 in ACAC women's basketball action Friday night at the NAIT Gymnasium.
Rebecca Muchrath led the way for the Vikings with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
The Ooks ball pressure and intensity throughout the game was key as they forced the Vikings to 23 turnovers. The Ooks took advantage of that and were able to score 27 points of turnovers.
With this win the Ooks record improves to 14-9, while the Vikings fall to 10-13. Rematch and the last game of the regular season will take place tomorrow Saturday February 24th when the Ooks visit the Vikings in Camrose at 7:00pm.
