EDMONTON, Alta. - The NAIT Ooks defeated the GPRC Wolves 92-30 in their home opener on Friday night in the NAIT Gymnasium.
NAIT was too much to handle in this one. Their tough press defense was too much for the Wolves to handle as the Ooks walked to a victory with ease. Fifth-year guard Sydney Hurlburt led the way with 23 points for the Ooks while Allie Hunder added 17. Jeannie Borger was the lone bright spot for the Wolves as she posted 10 of the Wolves 30 points.
Hurlburt and Borger were both named Player of the Game for their teams. The two teams will now rematch at 1:00 pm on Saturday.
