The SAIT Trojans travelled to the NAIT arena on Saturday night to take on the NAIT Ooks. The Ooks beat the Trojans 6-1 on Friday night at SAIT and wanted to bring the heat again tonight in front of their home crowd.
Both teams looked ready to play in the first period, with the Ooks winning the puck drop and sending it over to the Trojans' zone. The Trojans worked hard to keep the puck out of their zone, but the Ooks kept the pressure on. Luckily the Trojans goalie came prepared to save the Ooks' difficult shots. It didn't take long before the Ooks were able to get one through, though, as Cass Lyttle scored the first goal to give the Ooks a 1-0 lead. Less than 30 seconds later, SAIT answered back with a goal of their own from Kiara Stewart. NAIT wasn't going down without a fight as Michaella Kibblewhite scored to give the Ooks back their lead. Fifteen seconds later, Ooks forward Bre Martin added another to their score.

They weren't done there, though, as Hanna Paquette and Michaella Kibblewhite both found the back of the net for the Ooks before the period was over.
It was 7-1 for the Ooks after two periods of play.
The third period started off with another Ooks goal coming two minutes into the game, but ten minutes later, SAIT finally found the back of the net to bring their total to two. It wasn't enough, though, as the Ooks won the game 8-2.
