SHERWOOD PARK, Alta. - Marissa Webb scored twice as she led the NAIT Ooks women's soccer team to a 3-0 win over the Keyano Huskies on Saturday afternoon at the Strathcona Athletic Park in Sherwood Park.
The undefeated Ooks came out flying despite the frigid temperature. Marissa Webb scored 2:07 seconds into the game, giving NAIT an early lead. In the 30th-minute Vanessa Minckler gave NAIT a 2-0 lead, which then turned into a 3-0 lead 90 seconds later as Webb scored her second of the game.
In the second half, the Ooks locked down the defense and kept the game at 3-0, allowing only one shot on goal during the course of the game.
