Saturday night, the NAIT Ooks took on the Lakeland Rustlers at the NAIT gymnasium. The Rustlers took home a 3-0 win.

It seemed that momentum might be shifting for the Ooks, but an enormous kill from the Rustlers didn't let that happen. The Rustlers took the set 25-14.
In the second set, the Ooks and the Rustlers were neck and neck. The Ooks came back from a 4-point deficit making the score tied at 7-7, with the Ooks finally taking the lead. However, it wasn't for long as the Rustler's number seven, Avery Bates, made a massive kill. The Ooks didn't let go, with a gigantic kill from Charlotte Vandenelzen. The Rustlers retake the lead, with the Ooks falling behind with a seven-point deficit. The Ooks weren't going away quietly; however, Rustler number seven, Avery Bates, got a massive kill. The Rustlers took the set 25-16, leading the match 2-0.
In the third set, the Rustlers took the lead early in the set. The Ooks fight back with two very well place attacks from eight Charlotte Vandenelzen. The Rustlers get some big blocks shutting down the Ooks' offensive attempts. The Rustlers hold onto their lead, with number fourteen getting a massive kill that has the Ooks scrambling to close the gap. Ooks take the point after an intense rally, with Ooks number five Karly Burkinshaw making impressive plays with a huge block and hit. In the end, the Rustlers take the set 25-15, winning the match 3-0.
