Bio

Tessa grew up playing numerous sports including soccer, basketball and volleyball. In high school, Tessa decided to focus solely on her favorite sport of all – volleyball! Tessa played club volleyball for as long as she can remember and Team Alberta for a year. In 2009, she moved to Edmonton to play with the Griffins at MacEwan University. Tessa played for two years and then continued as a volunteer coach for her remaining time at MacEwan. In 2015, she joined the NAIT Women’s Volleyball Team as an assistant coach and is excited to continue working with the Ooks. Tessa is also beginning her Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Alberta. Tessa loves the teamwork and dedication she sees from the student-athletes as they work on creating the positive and trusting environment required for success.
