Edmonton, AB - Alix Reiter, Kaitlyn Whaley, Brittney Savard, Verca Kuzelova, Megan Leblanc, Hayley Douglas, and Davina McLeod all scored during the NAIT Ooks' decisive 7-1 victory over the SAIT Trojans on Friday night in ACAC women's hockey action at the NAIT Arena.
Keely Somers replied in a losing cause for the Trojans in the second period. Tara Bouvette recorded 22 saves in 60 minutes for the Blue and Gold.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Trojans by 37-23 shots on net.
With this win, NAIT improves to 17-3-1 and remain at the top of the ACAC, while the Trojans fall to 4-16-1 and remain last in the ACAC. Rematch will take place tomorrow Saturday February 10th in Calgary at 6:00pm.
